Reconstructing Ordinary Life
Our project focuses on reconstructing the ordinary life of people in Late Medieval Anatolia by data mining primary sources. We create interactive GIS maps and social network analysis tools to understand the complex relationships and daily experiences of medieval Anatolian society.
Using advanced digital humanities methodologies, we analyze historical documents, court records, and administrative texts to extract meaningful patterns about social structures, economic relationships, and cultural practices in medieval Anatolia.
